Since we started Rekberin, we have aimed to build our Services with a set of strong privacy principles. REKBERIN provides internet calling, transaction, and other services to users worldwide. Our Privacy Policy helps to explain information and transaction practices. For example, we talk about what information we collect and how transactions are securely made and how they affect you. We also explain the steps we take to protect your privacy—such as building Rekberin so that sent messages are not stored and giving you control over who communicates with you on our Service.
Rekberin receives or collects information and transactions as we operate and provide our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services.
The type of information we receive and collect depends on how you use our Services. We require certain information to deliver our Services, and without this information, we cannot provide our Services to you. For example, you must provide a mobile phone number when creating an account to use our Services.
Our Services have optional features that, if used, require us to collect additional information to provide those features. You will be notified about such collection if necessary. If you choose not to provide the information required to use a feature, you will not be able to use that feature. For example, you cannot share your location with your contacts if you do not allow us to collect location data from your device. Permissions can be managed through the Settings menu on your Android device or Settings on your iOS device.
Your Account Information. You provide your phone number to create a REKBERIN account. You give us your phone number from your mobile address book regularly, including phone numbers of other users of our Service and your other contacts. You confirm that you are authorized to provide such number to us. You may also add other information to your account, such as profile name, profile picture, and status message. Your Messages. and others. The following scenarios explain when we might store your messages during the message delivery process:
Your Messages. We do not store your messages in the ordinary course of providing our Service to you. Once your messages (including chats, photos, videos, voice messages, files, and sharing of location information) are delivered, they are deleted from our servers. Your messages are stored on your own device.
Undelivered Messages. If a message cannot be delivered immediately (for example, if you are offline), we may store it on our servers for up to 30 days as we try to deliver it. If the message is still undelivered after 30 days, we delete it.
Media Forwarding. When users forward media within messages, we temporarily store that media in encrypted form on our servers to facilitate the delivery of additional forwarding.
We also offer end-to-end encryption for our Services, which is enabled by default when you and the person you message are using versions of our app released after December 11, 2022. End-to-end encryption means that your messages are encrypted to protect us and third parties from reading them. Your Connections. To help you manage how you communicate with others, we may create a favorites list of your contacts for you, and you can create, join, or be added to groups and broadcast lists, and these groups and lists are linked to your account information. Customer Support. You may provide us with information related to your use of our Services, including copies of your messages, and how to contact you so that we can provide customer support to you. For example, you may email us with information related to the performance of our app or other issues.
Your Connections. If permitted by applicable law, you may use the upload contacts feature and periodically provide phone numbers from your phone's address book, including users of our Service and your other contacts. If any of your contacts have not yet used our Service, we manage this information for you in a way that ensures those contacts cannot be identified by us. Learn more about our upload contacts feature here. You can create, join, or be added to groups and broadcast lists, and these groups and lists will be associated with your account information. You name your group. You can provide a group profile photo or description.
Contact Information. Rekberin may access and collect the list of contacts from your device to facilitate certain features, such as inviting friends or sharing content with your contacts. We will ask for your permission before accessing your contact list.
Image, File, and Other Document Information. Rekberin may also collect images, files, and other documents that you upload through our application. This may include profile pictures, note files, business documents, or other files that you choose to share or store using our service.
Status Information. You can display your status if you choose to include it on your account. Learn how to use status on Android, iPhone, or KaiOS.
Transaction and Payment Data. If you use our payment services, or use our Services intended for purchases or other financial transactions, we process additional information about you, including account and transaction information. Account and payment transaction information includes information necessary to complete transactions (for example, information about payment method, shipping details, and your transaction amount). If you use our payment services available in your country or region, our privacy practices are outlined in the applicable payment privacy policy.
Customer Support and Other Communication. When contacting us for customer support or communicating with us, you may provide information related to your use of our Services by you, including copies of messages, other information deemed useful, and how to contact you (for example, email address). For example, you may email us with information related to the performance of the app or other issues.
Usage and Log Information. We collect service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activities (such as how you use our services, how you interact with others using our services, and so on), log files, and diagnostics, damages, websites, as well as logs and performance reports.
Transaction Information. If you pay for our services and transact between users, we may receive information and confirmations, such as payment receipts, including from app stores or other third parties processing your payments.
Device and Connection Information. We collect specific device information when you install, access, or use our services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, browser information, IP address, cellular network information including phone numbers, and device identifiers.
Location Information. We collect device location information if you use our location features, such as when you choose to share your location with your contacts, view nearby locations shared with you, and for diagnostic and troubleshooting purposes such as if you experience issues with our app's location feature. We use cookies to operate and provide our services, including to provide our web-based services, enhance your experience, understand how our services are used, and customize our services. For example, we use cookies to provide REKBERIN for web and desktop and other web-based services.
Cookies. We may also use cookies to understand which of our FAQs are most popular and to show you relevant content related to our services. Additionally, we may use cookies to remember your choices, such as your language preferences, and vice versa to customize our services for you. We collect information about changes in your online messages and status on our services, such as whether you are online ("your online status"), when you last used our services ("your last seen status"), and when you last updated your message status.

Your phone number, name and profile photo, "about" information, last seen information, and message receipts are available to anyone using our Services, although you can configure your Service settings to manage certain information available to other users, including businesses, communicating with you.
Your Contacts and Others. Users, including businesses, communicating with you may store or reshare your information (including your phone number or your messages) with others inside and outside our Services. You can use your Service settings and the "block" feature in our Services to manage who communicates with you on our Services and certain information you share.
Businesses on REKBERIN. We offer special services for businesses such as providing usage metrics related to our Services.
Third-Party Service Providers. We work with third-party service providers to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services. We work with these Third-Party Service Provider companies to support our Services, such as providing technical infrastructure, delivery, and other systems; marketing our Services; conducting surveys and research for us; protecting the safety, security, and integrity of users and others; and assisting customer service. When we share information with third-party service providers in this capacity, we require them to use your information on our behalf in accordance with our instructions and terms.
Third-Party Services. If you or others use third-party services or other KING MULYA GROUP (KMG) Company Products that are integrated with our Services, those third-party services may receive information about what you or others share with them. For example, if you use a data backup service integrated with our Services (such as iCloud or Google Account), these services will receive information shared by you with them, such as your REKBERIN messages. If you interact with third-party services or other KING MULYA GROUP (KMG) Company Products linked through our Services, such as when you use an in-app player to play content from a third-party platform, information about you, such as your IP address and the fact that you are a REKBERIN user, may be provided to those third parties or KING MULYA GROUP (KMG) Company Products. Please note that when you use third-party services or other KING MULYA GROUP (KMG) Company Products, their terms and privacy policies will govern your use of those services and products.
Our Affiliate Companies joined the REKBERIN family of companies in 2022. As part of the REKBERIN family of companies, REKBERIN receives information from, and shares information with, these family companies. We may use the information we receive from them, and they may use the information we share with them, to help operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services and their offerings. You acknowledge that the laws, regulations, and standards of the country in which your information is stored or processed may differ from your own country.
We may change or update our Privacy Policy. We will provide you notice of these changes to our Privacy Policy, as appropriate, and update the “Last Modified” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our Services confirms your acceptance of our Privacy Policy, as amended.
